JOHN K. BURKLEY II APPOINTED TO STATE TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE Cecil Whig, Published: Monday, November 3, 2008, 5:05 AM CST
John K. Burkley II has been appointed by Governor Martin O'Malley to fill an unexpired three-year term on the Maryland Transportation Commission. Burkley will serve as Chairman of the 10-member commission, which advises and makes recommendations to Transportation Secretary John Pocari and to the heads of the units in MDOT on policy formation and program execution. |

Besides, looking forward to helping Cecil County move ahead with transportation projects, Burkley is also happy to be following in his father’s footsteps. He is expected to take the oath of office, administered by Clerk of the Circuit Court William Brueckman, within the next 30 days.

In June, 2007 William "Bill" Gerweck II joined our Commercial Real Estate division with over thirty years in the real estate development and construction industries.
Kristen Shinault joined the fulltime staff in May 2008. Kristen has been with John K. Burkley Company in some capacity since 2005.
